Flexicare Feedback Survey Competition Terms and Conditions

Introductions

These terms and conditions (“Terms”) govern the Discovery Flexicare Survey (the “Survey”) and associated prize draw (the “Competition”) run by Discovery Limited (the “Organizer”).

Eligibility

You are eligible to participate in the Survey and Competition if you:

  • Are a resident of South Africa.
  • Are 18 years of age or older.
  • Are a lapsed Discovery Flexicare policyholder.
  • Complete the feedback survey on the Flexicare product during the Competition Period.

Competition Period

The Competition runs from 14 October 2024 to 14 February 2025, with an option to extend to 14 March 2025 (the “Competition Period”).

How to Enter

To enter the Competition:

  1. Complete the Discovery Flexicare feedback survey in full.
  2. Submit your completed survey during the Competition Period.
  3. Upon submission, you will be automatically entered into the monthly prize draw.

Entry Limitations

  • You may only enter the Competition once by completing one survey during the Competition Period.
  • The Organizer reserves the right to disqualify any entry at its sole discretion.

Prizes

  • There will be one winner drawn each month during the Competition Period.
  • Each winner will receive either: a) A R1000 Checkers voucher, OR b) A R1000 Takealot voucher
  • Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable for cash or any other goods or services.

Winner Selection and Announcement

  • Winners will be randomly selected from all eligible entries received during each month of the Competition Period.
  • Winners will be announced within one week of the 14th of each month.
  • Winners will be notified via the contact details provided in their survey submission.

Prize Claiming

  • Winners will receive instructions on how to claim their prizes upon notification.
  • Winners must claim their prizes within 30 days of notification.
  • If a prize is not claimed within 30 days, the Organizer reserves the right to select an alternative winner.

Publicity and Data Protection

  • By entering the Competition, you agree that your personal information may be used for the purposes of administering the Survey and Competition.
  • Winners may be required to participate in reasonable publicity related to the Competition.
  • All personal information will be handled in accordance with Discovery Limited’s Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws.

General Terms

  1. The Organizer’s decision regarding all matters relating to the Competition will be final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
  2. The Organizer reserves the right to amend these Terms or terminate the Competition at any time without prior notice.
  3. The Competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with, Checkers or Takealot.
  4. By participating in the Survey and Competition, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Liability

The Organizer and its associated companies will not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect or consequential loss), damage, personal injury or death which is suffered or sustained in connection with the Survey, Competition, or accepting or using the prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of South Africa. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of South Africa.
