The Rather Chat (Pty) Ltd (“Rather.chat”) “Secure Your Free Will & Win Competition” (the “Competition”) is open to all South African citizens or permanent residents aged 18 or over.
How to Enter
To enter the Competition, you (“the Participant(s)/Entrant(s)”) must complete a booking to secure your free Will session via the Rather.chat platform or through affiliated marketing channels (including, but not limited to, WhatsApp, Facebook lead ads, email links, or partner websites). Only Participants who successfully secure a Will booking will qualify for entry into the prize draw.
To qualify for a booking to draft your free will, a user is required to have an income above R12500 per month.
Only one (1) entry per person is allowed. No additional entries will be granted.
Competition Period
The Competition runs from 1 June 2025 to 1 September 2025. Entries received after 11:59 PM on 1 September 2025 will not be considered. Rather.chat reserves the right to extend the deadline by up to one (1) month if required; such an extension will be communicated via email to Participants (where a valid email address has been provided).
The Prize
There will be five (5) winners selected via random draw. Each winner will choose ONE of the following prize options:
- Option A: R1,000 Playtomic voucher
- Option B: R1,000 Stodels voucher
Each winner will receive one prize. Prizes are non-transferable and not redeemable for cash or any alternative product or service.
Winner Selection
The winners will be chosen through a random draw conducted by an independent third-party service during the first week of September 2025. Winners will be contacted by email and/or SMS and/or telephone.
If a winner does not respond to Rather.chat within 14 days of being notified, their prize will be forfeited and another winner will be selected. If a winner rejects their prize or the entry is found to be invalid (e.g. through inaccurate booking information), the prize will also be forfeited and a redraw conducted.
Entry Validity
- Only one entry per person is allowed.
- Entries on behalf of another person or joint submissions are not allowed.
- Booking information provided will be verified via call after the competition period; incorrect or fraudulent information will result in disqualification and a redraw.
Data Usage & Privacy
By entering this Competition, Participants consent to Rather.chat collecting, storing, and processing their personal information as described in Rather.chat’s Privacy Policy, and for communication purposes related to the Competition and future offers from Rather.chat and/or its affiliate partners. Participants will have the option to unsubscribe from such communications.
Rather.chat will take all reasonable steps to ensure Participants’ data is protected in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
Promotional Activity
The winners may be requested to participate in reasonable promotional activities related to the Competition (e.g. providing a photo, testimonial, or being featured in marketing content). By entering the Competition, Participants agree to such reasonable requests.
Limitation of Liability
Rather.chat accepts no responsibility for any loss, injury, damage, or disappointment incurred by Participants as a result of entering the Competition or accepting any prize. Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes Rather.chat’s liability for death, personal injury, or fraud caused by its negligence.
Rather.chat is not responsible for any failure of systems, servers, or platforms beyond its reasonable control that may affect entry into or operation of the Competition.
General
- Employees of Rather.chat and their immediate family members, or anyone professionally connected to the Competition, are not eligible to enter.
- The decision of Rather.chat regarding any aspect of the Competition is final and binding. No correspondence will be entered into.
- This Competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook, Playtomic, or Stodels. You are providing your information to Rather.chat.
No Purchase Necessary
No purchase or payment of any kind is required to enter the Competition. Booking a free Will session does not obligate any further purchase of services.
