Win While You Plan Competition

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. PROMOTER

The promoter of this competition is iWYZE (Pty) Ltd, trading as Old Mutual iWYZE (“the Promoter”).

By entering the Win While You Plan Competition (“the Competition”), all participants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Acceptance of a prize constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.


2. COMPETITION PERIOD

The Competition will run from 11 February 2026 and will close on 30 March 2026 at 23:59 (SAST).
No entries received after the closing date will be accepted.


3. ELIGIBILITY

3.1 The Competition is open to:

  • South African residents only;

  • Persons 18 years or older at the time of entry; and

  • Individuals who obtain an iWYZE Funeral Cover quote during the Competition period.

3.2 The Competition is not open to existing iWYZE funeral policyholders.

3.3 The Competition is not open to employees of Old Mutual, Old Mutual Insure, Old Mutual iWYZE, their subsidiaries, advertising agencies, partners, or their immediate family members.


4. HOW TO ENTER

4.1 To enter the Competition, participants must successfully obtain an iWYZE Funeral Cover quote via the Competition journey during the Competition period.

4.2 No purchase is required to enter the Competition.

4.3 One entry per person is permitted. Multiple entries or multiple quotes by the same person will result in disqualification.

4.4 Entries that are incomplete, fraudulent, or submitted using false information will be disqualified.


5. THE PRIZE

5.1 There will be four (4) winners.

5.2 Each winner will receive one (1) voucher to the value of R1,000 (One Thousand Rand) in the form of a 1Voucher.

5.3 Vouchers are valid for three (3) years from the date of issue and are subject to the voucher issuer’s standard terms and conditions.

5.4 Prizes are not transferable, not refundable, and not exchangeable for cash.

5.5 The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize with another prize of equal value should circumstances beyond its control require it.


6. WINNER SELECTION AND ANNOUNCEMENT

6.1 Winners will be selected by random draw from all valid entries.

6.2 The draw will take place on 31 March 2026.

6.3 Winners will be notified via WhatsApp using the contact number provided during entry.

6.4 Winners will have five (5) working days from the date of notification to accept and claim their prize.
Failure to respond within this period may result in forfeiture of the prize and the selection of an alternative winner.

6.5 The selection of winners will be conducted in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act, 2008.


7. PUBLICITY

7.1 By entering the Competition, participants consent to the publication of their name only should they be selected as a winner.

7.2 No photographs or additional personal details will be published without further consent.


8. MARKETING COMMUNICATION

8.1 By entering the Competition, participants consent to being contacted by iWYZE for marketing and promotional purposes via electronic communication.

8.2 Participants may opt out of marketing communications at any time in accordance with applicable laws.


9. PERSONAL INFORMATION (POPIA)

9.1 The Promoter will collect and process personal information (including name and contact details) solely for the purposes of administering the Competition and related marketing activities.

9.2 All personal information will be processed in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA).

9.3 Personal information will not be shared with third parties except where necessary to fulfil the Competition or where required by law.


10. GENERAL

10.1 The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who breaches these Terms and Conditions.

10.2 The Promoter shall not be liable for any technical failures, system errors, or delays that affect entry into the Competition.

10.3 The Promoter reserves the right to amend, suspend, or cancel the Competition at any time for reasonable cause.

10.4 The Promoter’s decision regarding any aspect of the Competition is final and binding, and no correspondence will be entered into.


11. LIABILITY

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Promoter shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or injury arising from participation in the Competition or acceptance or use of a prize.


12. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
